The driver from Murcia Mikkel Kristensen Illán won the category GTX of the Iberian Supercars during the event held at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia, one of the fixtures in the championship between Spain and Portugal.

Kristensen was competing alongside Pere Marqués with the team Chefo Sport, driving a Ligier JS2R. The weekend got off to a difficult start for the team due to a number of mechanical issues during the practice sessions.

Despite this, both drivers staged a remarkable comeback from the back of the grid to go on to win both races over the weekend.

After the race, Kristensen highlighted how challenging the weekend had been and expressed his satisfaction with the result achieved in Valencia.

The victory at the Valencia circuit adds to the results the driver has achieved in international competitions this season.
